The Stop On Error item under the Options menu controls whether Scan pauses when it finds a bad file sector or whether it continues checking other files. If this option is checked (enabled), a dialog box will be displayed for every error that occurs, and you must click the OK button (or type the return key) to proceed. This is useful if you want to see the specific sector and error. If this option is unchecked (disabled), Scan will not pause, but continue checking other files.
